3 necessary ingredients for a happy, fulfilling life

Welcome to my newsletter helping ambitious people perform at their best without burning out (like I did).

Get these things right, and it’ll be nearly impossible to not feel happy and fulfilled most of the time:

  1. Learn a practice to regulate your nervous system, and practice it daily. My go-to is meditation. If I don’t meditate in the morning, I’m an irritable, unproductive ball of stress all day long.
  2. Find a space where you can share your emotions without judgment. I see my therapist every other week (it’s the biggest return-on-investment in my life) and go to a men’s group once a month.
  3. Get your financial situation right. Capitalism forces us to have money to afford basic survival needs. If you’re not lucky enough to inherit wealth or have a decent-paying job, start a union with your coworkers to fight for higher pay and more control over your time. Vote for politicians and fight for policies that radically redistribute political and economic power away from the rich and powerful to everyday, working people.

With warmth,
Jeremy
