Join us on a 3-day retreat near the Chesapeake Bay (January 10-12, 2025), where we will integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and interpersonal processing to facilitate a transformative healing journey for mental health professionals.

Kyle Wehrend, LICSW, LCSW-C is a licensed social worker who is Level 1-trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a trauma-informed, evidence-backed form of therapy.
Jeremy Mohler, LGPC is a licensed counselor who is Level 1-trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a trauma-informed, evidence-backed form of therapy.
What’s included in the retreat:
1-hour virtual intention setting session before the retreat
Individual 90-minute IFS healing circle session
Facilitator-led interpersonal group processing
2 nights shared lodging
Communal meals, all food provided
Scheduled time for silent reflection/processing and access to indoor spaces, walking trails, and forest
You will also receive:
- Play therapy to support development of your intention
- Guided mindfulness meditation practices
- Optional individualized support throughout retreat with facilitators
- Learning IFS techniques to incorporate in your work with clients
- Deeper connection with other therapists who are men
Example day schedule
Each day of the retreat will be unique, but here’s what a day may look like:
- 9-10am Breakfast
- 10-10:30am Meditation and check-in
- 10:30am-12pm Men’s group work together
- 12-1pm Lunch/free time
- 1-3pm Men’s group work together
- 3-3:30pm Break
- 3:30-6pm Men’s group work together
- 6:30-8pm Dinner
Harmony Hills Retreat Center
Harmony Hills Retreat Center sits on 20 acres of beautiful forest in Deale, Maryland, and features a barn-house, yurt, walking trails, and countless forest meditation spaces only minutes from the Chesapeake Bay and less than an hour from Washington, DC and Annapolis, Maryland.
Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is mainly for:
- Mental health professionals who have been socialized as men, including graduate students/trainees
- Mental health professionals who are looking for more connection both professionally and personally
- Mental health professionals looking to explore how “traditional” aspects of masculinity hold us back in our work with clients and in relationships and friendships
- Overwhelmed professionals who need to pause and take care of their own system to be able to serve their clients better
- Clinicians who are IFS-trained or -informed, or those who are curious about IFS (no IFS experience is required)
All participants are screened to ensure sufficient motivation and relational skills. We strongly encourage therapists of diverse backgrounds, identities, and sexual orientations to explore joining.

$1,000 for the full 3-day retreat (includes lodging and all meals)
